Details
A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in PHPKIT 1.6.1 (Content Management System). Affected is some unknown processing of the file include.php. The manipulation of the argument session with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:
Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in include.php in PHPKIT 1.6.1 R2 and earlier allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (1) id parameter in conjunction with the login/userinfo.php path and (2) the session parameter (aka the PHPKITSID variable).
The bug was discovered 09/30/2005. The weakness was released 11/07/2005 by Johann-Peter Hartmann, Stefan Esser, Christopher Kunz and Stefan Walk (Website).
