A vulnerability was found in SAP Web Application Server up to 6.10 (Application Server Software). It has been declared as problematic. This vulnerability affects an unknown code of the file frameset.htm. The manipulation of the argument sap-exiturl with an unknown input leads to a unknown weakness. frameset.htm in the BSP runtime in SAP Web Application Server (WAS) 6.10 through 7.00 allows remote attackers to log users out and redirect them to arbitrary web sites via a close command in the sap-sessioncmd parameter and a URL in the sap-exiturl parameter.
The weakness was released 11/16/2005 by Leandro Meiners with Cybsec (Website). The advisory is available at vupen.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2005-3634 since 11/16/2005. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details and also a public exploit are known.
