A vulnerability was found in Revize CMS (Content Management System) (version now known) and classified as critical. This issue affects some unknown processing of the file debug/query_results.jsp. The manipulation of the argument query with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. SQL injection vulnerability in debug/query_results.jsp in Idetix Software Systems Revize CMS allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the query parameter.
The bug was discovered 11/02/2005. The weakness was published 11/16/2005 by Lostmon Lords (Website). The advisory is shared at securityfocus.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2005-3727 since 11/21/2005. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1505 for this issue.
