A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in SugarCRM Sugar Suite up to 4.0. This issue affects an unknown functionality of the file acceptdecline.php. The manipulation of the argument array with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Directory traversal vulnerability in acceptDecline.php in Sugar Suite Open Source Customer Relationship Management (SugarCRM) 4.0 beta and earlier allows remote attackers to include arbitrary local files via ".." sequences in the beanFiles array parameter.
The bug was discovered 12/07/2005. The weakness was released 12/08/2005 by rgod (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at vupen.com.
