A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in Indexcor ezDatabase 2.1.2. This issue affects some unknown processing of the file index.php. The manipulation of the argument p with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Directory traversal vulnerability in index.php in ezDatabase 2.1.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to include arbitrary local files via ".." sequences in the p parameter.

The weakness was released 12/14/2005 by r0t (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at vupen.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2005-4302 since 12/16/2005.
