Details
A vulnerability has been found in Indexcor EZDatabase up to 2.1.1 and classified as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown function of the file index.php. The manipulation of the argument p with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. As an impact it is known to affect confidentiality, and integrity. The summary by CVE is:
index.php in EZDatabase before 2.1.2 does not properly cleanse the p parameter before constructing and including a .php filename, which allows remote attackers to conduct directory traversal attacks, and produces resultant cross-site scripting (XSS) and path disclosure.
