Details
A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in Mantis up to 1.0.0rc3 (Bug Tracking Software). Affected is some unknown processing of the file login_cookie_test.php of the component Login. The manipulation of the argument ref with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. This is going to have an impact on integrity. CVE summarizes:
CRLF injection vulnerability in Mantis 1.0.0rc3 and earlier allows remote attackers to modify HTTP headers and conduct HTTP response splitting attacks via (1) the return parameter in login_cookie_test.php and (2) ref parameter in login_select_proj_page.php.
