Details
A vulnerability has been found in Mantis 1.0.0 Rc1 up to 1.0.0a2 (Bug Tracking Software) and classified as problematic. Affected by this vulnerability is an unknown function of the file view_filters_page.php. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. As an impact it is known to affect integrity. The summary by CVE is:
Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in the view_filters_page.php filters script in Mantis 1.0.0rc3 and earlier allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the (1) view_type and (2) target_field parameters.
