A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in Microsoft Internet Explorer up to 6 (Web Browser). Affected is the function WsFakeSrc. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a privileges management vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-269. The product does not properly assign, modify, track, or check privileges for an actor, creating an unintended sphere of control for that actor. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
