A vulnerability was found in GaMerZ wp-stats 2.0 (WordPress Plugin). It has been rated as critical. This issue affects some unknown functionality of the file wp-stats.php. The manipulation of the argument author with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. SQL injection vulnerability in wp-stats.php in GaMerZ WP-Stats 2.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the author parameter.
The weakness was released 01/15/2006 by Preddy (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at lesterchan.net. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2006-0238 since 01/18/2006.
