A vulnerability was found in BEA WebLogic 8.1 (Application Server Software). It has been classified as problematic. This affects an unknown part of the component Profile Handler. BEA Weblogic Server 8.1 through 8.1 SP4 does not properly validate client certificates when reusing cached connections, which allows remote attackers to obtain access via an untrusted X.509 certificate.
The weakness was shared 01/17/2007 with BEA (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at dev2dev.bea.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2007-0408 since 01/22/2007.
