A vulnerability was found in NetOffice 2.5.3 Pl1. It has been classified as critical. Affected is an unknown function of the file sendpassword.php of the component Login. The manipulation of the argument loginForm with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-89. SQL injection vulnerability in general/sendpassword.php in (1) PHPCollab 2.4 and 2.5.rc3, and (2) NetOffice 2.5.3-pl1 and 2.6.0b2 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the loginForm parameter in the "forgotten password" option.
The weakness was published 03/28/2006 by retrogod (Website). The advisory is shared for download at gentoo.org. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2006-1495 since 03/29/2006. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Technical details and a public exploit are known. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1505.
