Apache SpamAssassin before 3.1.8 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service via long URLs in malformed HTML, which triggers "massive memory usage."
The bug was discovered 02/15/2007. The weakness was released 02/16/2007 with Apache Foundation (Website). The advisory is available at svn.apache.org. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2007-0451 since 01/23/2007. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication.
