Details
A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Kansok Communications Shopweezle 2.0/2.0 Personal/2.0 Professional/2.0 Professional Plus. This issue affects an unknown part of the file login.php of the component Login. The manipulation of the argument itemID with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The summary by CVE is:
Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in Shopweezle 2.0 allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (1) itemID parameter to (a) login.php and (b) memo.php; and the (2) itemgr, (3) brandID, and (4) album parameters to (c) index.php. NOTE: this issue also produces resultant full path disclosure from invalid SQL queries.
The weakness was published 04/09/2006 by r0t (Website). The advisory is shared at vupen.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2006-1706 since 04/10/2006. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details as well as a exploit are known. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1505 for this issue.
After immediately, there has been an exploit disclosed. It is declared as proof-of-concept. By approaching the search of inurl:login.php it is possible to find vulnerable targets with Google Hacking.
