A vulnerability classified as critical has been found in X7 Group X7 Chat up to 2.0 (Chat Software). Affected is an unknown functionality of the file index.php of the component Help. The manipulation of the argument help_file with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-22. Directory traversal vulnerability in help/index.php in X7 Chat 2.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to include arbitrary files via .. (dot dot) sequences in the help_file parameter.
