A vulnerability has been found in Russcom Network Loginphp (unknown version) and classified as problematic. This vulnerability affects an unknown code block of the file register.php. The manipulation of the argument Uname with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-80. Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Russcom Network Loginphp (Russcom.Loginphp) allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the username field when registering.
The weakness was presented 05/02/2006 by Nomenumbra and [0x4F4C] (Website). The advisory is shared for download at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2006-2160 since 05/03/2006. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim.
