A vulnerability was found in NullSoft WinAmp 5.33 (Multimedia Player Software). It has been classified as critical. This affects an unknown function in the library libsndfile.dll of the file chat.php of the component MAT File Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a memory corruption vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-119. LIBSNDFILE.DLL, as used by AOL Nullsoft Winamp 5.33 and possibly other products, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted .MAT file that contains a value that is used as an offset, which triggers memory corruption.
