A vulnerability was found in Open Searchable Image Catalogue up to 0.7.0.0 and classified as problematic. This issue affects the function do_mysql_query of the file core.php of the component Error Message Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability (Reflected). Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the do_mysql_query function in core.php for Open Searchable Image Catalogue (OSIC) before 0.7.0.1 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts or HTML via failed SQL queries, which is reflected in an error message.
