A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in Jam Warehouse KnowledgeTree 3.0.3 (Knowledge Base Software). This issue affects some unknown processing of the file view.php of the component Error Message Handler. The manipulation of the argument fDocumentId with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. view.php in KnowledgeTree Open Source 3.0.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to obtain the full installation path via a crafted fDocumentId parameter, which displays the path in the resulting error message. NOTE: this might be resultant from another vulnerability, since this vector also produces XSS.
