Buffer overflow in the transfer manager in Opera before 9.21 for Windows allows user-assisted remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted torrent file. NOTE: due to the lack of details, it is not clear if this is the same issue as CVE-2007-2274.
The weakness was released 05/21/2007 with iDefense (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at labs.idefense.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2007-2809 since 05/22/2007. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. Technical details are unknown but a private exploit is available.
