A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in DeluxeBB 1.06 (Forum Software). This issue affects an unknown part. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in DeluxeBB 1.06 allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (1) hideemail, (2) languagex, (3) xthetimeoffset, and (4) xthetimeformat parameters during account registration.

The bug was discovered 05/26/2006. The weakness was released 06/14/2006 by Andreas Sandblad with Secunia Research (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at vupen.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2006-2915 since 06/08/2006. The exploitation is known to be difficult. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not publicly available. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1505 according to MITRE ATT&CK.
