Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in pam_login.cgi in Webmin before 1.350 and Usermin before 1.280 allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the (1) cid, (2) message, or (3) question parameter. The bug was discovered 05/31/2007. The weakness was released 06/08/2007 with Webmin Project (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at webmin.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2007-3156 since 06/11/2007. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation.
