Heap-based buffer overflow in OpenOffice.org (OOo) 2.2.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a RTF file with a crafted prtdata tag with a length parameter inconsistency, which causes vtable entries to be overwritten.
The weakness was published 06/13/2007 by John Heasman (Website). The advisory is available at ngssoftware.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2007-0245 since 01/16/2007. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available.
