The weakness was shared 07/21/2006 by Alexander Kornbrust with Next Generation Security Software (Website). The advisory is available at us-cert.gov. This vulnerability was named CVE-2006-3711 since 07/18/2006. The exploitation appears to be difficult. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available. This vulnerability is assigned to T1505 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
