A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in PHP Live up to 3.2.1 (Programming Language Software). This issue affects an unknown code block of the file help.php of the component Help. The manipulation of the argument css_path with an unknown input leads to a file inclusion vulnerability. PHP remote file inclusion vulnerability in OSI Codes PHP Live! 3.2.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code via a URL in the css_path parameter in (1) help.php and (2) setup/header.php.
The weakness was disclosed 07/23/2006 by magnific (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at vupen.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2006-3911 since 07/27/2006. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known.
