A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in CGM CLININET up to 2024.MS4.32. This issue affects the function RunCommand. The RunCommand function accepts any parameter, which is then passed for execution in the shell. This allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system.
The weakness was presented by Maciej Kazulak. It is possible to read the advisory at cert.pl. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2025-30056 since 03/14/2025. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack needs to be initiated within the local network. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details of the vulnerability are known, but there is no available exploit. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1059 according to MITRE ATT&CK.
