A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in CGM CLININET up to 2024.MS3. Affected is the function getPatientIdentifier of the file PatientService.pl. The manipulation of the argument pesel with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. In the PatientService.pl service, the "getPatientIdentifier" function is vulnerable to SQL injection through the "pesel" parameter.
The weakness was shared by Maciej Kazulak. The advisory is shared for download at cert.pl. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2025-30058 since 03/14/2025. The exploitability is told to be easy. Access to the local network is required for this attack. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1505.
