A vulnerability classified as problematic has been found in Mozilla Bugzilla up to 2.23.2 (Bug Tracking Software). Affected is an unknown code of the file attachment.cgi. Bugzilla 2.18.x before 2.18.6, 2.20.x before 2.20.3, 2.22.x before 2.22.1, and 2.23.x before 2.23.3 allow remote attackers to obtain (1) the description of arbitrary attachments by viewing the attachment in "diff" mode in attachment.cgi, and (2) the deadline field by viewing the XML format of the bug in show_bug.cgi.
The weakness was shared 10/15/2006 by Max Kanat-Alexander with Shell as Bug 346564 as confirmed bug report (Bugzilla). The advisory is shared for download at bugzilla.mozilla.org. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2006-5454 since 10/23/2006. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely.
