A vulnerability was found in Flippet.org Winamp Web Interface up to 7.5.13. It has been rated as problematic. This issue affects the function browse. The manipulation of the argument path with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Directory traversal vulnerability in the Browse function (/browse URI) in Winamp Web Interface (Wawi) 7.5.13 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to list arbitrary directories via URL encoded backslashes ("%2F") in the path parameter.
