A vulnerability was found in SOUND4 Impact, Pulse, First, Pulse Eco, BigVoice4, BigVoice2 and Stream. It has been rated as critical. Affected by this issue is an unknown code block of the file traceroute.php of the component HTTP POST Request Handler. SOUND4 IMPACT/FIRST/PULSE/Eco <=2.x contains a conditional command injection vulnerability that allows local authenticated users to create malicious files in the /tmp directory. Unauthenticated attackers can execute commands by making a single HTTP POST request to the traceroute.php script, which triggers the malicious file and then deletes it after execution.
The weakness was disclosed by Gjoko Krstic as 170267. The advisory is shared for download at zeroscience.mk. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2022-50795 since 12/26/2025. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack needs to be approached locally. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available. The current price for an exploit might be approx.
