Unspecified vulnerability in Mozilla Firefox 2.x before 2.0.0.1, 1.5.x before 1.5.0.9, Thunderbird before 1.5.0.9, and SeaMonkey before 1.0.7 allows remote attackers to gain privileges and install malicious code via the watch Javascript function.

The bug was discovered 12/19/2006. The weakness was released 12/19/2006 by Vladimir Vukicevic (moz_bug_r_a4) (Website). The advisory is available at us-cert.gov. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2006-6501 since 12/13/2006. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit. This vulnerability is assigned to T1068 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
