Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL dereference and application crash) via JavaScript onUnload handlers that modify the structure of a document.
The issue has been introduced in 07/27/2005. The weakness was shared 02/23/2007 by Michal Zalewski as not defined posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is shared at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2007-1094 since 02/26/2007. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication.
