Details
A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Gardyn Mobile Application and Cloud API (affected version not known). Affected by this issue is some unknown functionality of the component User Permission Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a hard-coded credentials vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-798. The product contains hard-coded credentials, such as a password or cryptographic key, which it uses for its own inbound authentication, outbound communication to external components, or encryption of internal data. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:
Storage credentials are hardcoded in the mobile app and device firmware. These credentials do not adequately limit end user permissions and do not expire within a reasonable amount of time. This vulnerability may grant unauthorized access to production storage containers.
The weakness was released by Michael Groberman as icsa-26-055-03. The advisory is shared for download at cisa.gov. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2025-10681 since 09/18/2025. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation.
