A vulnerability classified as critical was found in Net Portal Dynamic Portal 5.10. This vulnerability affects an unknown function of the file grab_globals.php. Variable extraction vulnerability in grab_globals.php in Net Portal Dynamic System (NPDS) 5.10 and earlier allows remote attackers to conduct SQL injection attacks via the _FILES[DB][tmp_name] parameter to print.php, which overwrites the $DB variable with dynamic variable evaluation.
The weakness was disclosed 03/23/2007 as not defined posting (Bugtraq). The advisory is shared for download at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2007-1634 since 03/23/2007. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details and also a public exploit are known. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1505.
It is possible to download the exploit at exploit-db.com. It is declared as proof-of-concept. By approaching the search of inurl:grab_globals.php it is possible to find vulnerable targets with Google Hacking.
There is no information about possible countermeasures known. It may be suggested to replace the affected object with an alternative product.
