A vulnerability was found in 3proxy 0.5.3g (Firewall Software). It has been declared as critical. This vulnerability affects some unknown functionality of the component Proxy Service. Buffer overflow in the HTTP proxy service for 3proxy 0.5 to 0.5.3g, and 0.6b-devel before 20070413, might allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via crafted transparent requests.

The bug was discovered 04/16/2007. The weakness was presented 04/16/2007 (Website). The advisory is available at 3proxy.ru. This vulnerability was named CVE-2007-2031 since 04/16/2007.
