Apple QuickTime before 7.4.5 enables deserialization of QTJava objects by untrusted Java applets, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted applet.

The bug was discovered 04/02/2008. The weakness was shared 04/03/2008 by Ruben Santamarta with ZDI as HT1241 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared for download at support.apple.com.
