A vulnerability was found in KTM System e-BOK. It has been rated as problematic. This issue affects an unknown part. KTM System e-BOK is vulnerable to Cross‑Site Request Forgery (CSRF) in both the email-change and password-change functionalities. An attacker can craft a malicious website that, when visited by an authenticated user, automatically sends a forged POST request to the application. This allows the attacker to trigger an unauthorized email or password change on behalf of the victim without their knowledge or interaction. This issue was fixed in the patch published in June 2026.
The weakness was disclosed by Jacek Korta. It is possible to read the advisory at cert.pl. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2026-35096 since 04/01/2026. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not publicly available.
Upgrading to version 06.2026 eliminates this vulnerability.
