CVSS Meta Temp Score
CVSS is a standardized scoring system to determine possibilities of attacks. The Temp Score considers temporal factors like disclosure, exploit and countermeasures. The unique Meta Score calculates the average score of different sources to provide a normalized scoring system.
Current Exploit Price (≈)
Our analysts are monitoring exploit markets and are in contact with vulnerability brokers. The range indicates the observed or calculated exploit price to be seen on exploit markets. A good indicator to understand the monetary effort required for and the popularity of an attack.
CTI Interest Score
Our Cyber Threat Intelligence team is monitoring different web sites, mailing lists, exploit markets and social media networks. The CTI Interest Score identifies the interest of attackers and the security community for this specific vulnerability in real-time. A high score indicates an elevated risk to be targeted for this vulnerability.

This vulnerability was named CVE-2026-13455. The attack may be performed from remote. There is no available exploit. It is suggested to upgrade the affected component.

Detailsinfo

A vulnerability classified as problematic has been found in Dalibo PostgreSQL Anonymizer up to 3.1.1. Affected is the function anon.hash. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a weak hash vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-328. The product uses an algorithm that produces a digest (output value) that does not meet security expectations for a hash function that allows an adversary to reasonably determine the original input (preimage attack), find another input that can produce the same hash (2nd preimage attack), or find multiple inputs that evaluate to the same hash (birthday attack). This is going to have an impact on confidentiality. CVE summarizes:

PostgreSQL Anonymizer contains a vulnerability that allows unprivileged masked users to repeatedly call the anon.hash() function and collects (seed, hash_output) pairs to perform an offline brute-force attack and deduce the salt. The problem is resolved in PostgreSQL Anonymizer 3.1.2 and later versions

The advisory is shared for download at gitlab.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2026-13455 since 06/26/2026. The exploitability is told to be difficult. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1600.001.

Upgrading to version 3.1.2 eliminates this vulnerability.
