A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in activeWeb contentserver 5.6.2929. This affects an unknown function of the file errors/rights.asp. Multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in activeWeb contentserver before 5.6.2964 allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the msg parameter to (1) errors/rights.asp or (2) errors/transaction.asp, or (3) the name of a MIME type (mimetype).
The weakness was released 07/13/2007 by RedTeam Pentesting (Website). The advisory is shared at redteam-pentesting.de. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2007-3014 since 06/04/2007. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction.
