A vulnerability has been found in Apple iChat 10.3.9 (Chat Software) and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects an unknown part. Buffer overflow in the UPnP IGD (Internet Gateway Device Standardized Device Control Protocol) implementation in iChat on Apple Mac OS X 10.3.9 and 10.4.10 allows network-adjacent remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted packet.
The bug was discovered 07/31/2007. The weakness was released 08/03/2007 by DiGiT with Secunia Research (Website). The advisory is available at lists.apple.com.
