A vulnerability was found in Creamotion CMS 5.0/6.0 (Content Management System) and classified as critical. This issue affects an unknown code of the file administration/securite.php of the component Administration. The manipulation of the argument cfg[document_uri] with an unknown input leads to a code injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-94. Multiple PHP remote file inclusion vulnerabilities in CMS Creamotion allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code via a URL in the cfg[document_uri] parameter to (1) _administration/securite.php and (2) _administration/gestion_configurations/save_config.php.
The weakness was published 10/06/2007 by HACKERS PAL (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at vupen.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2007-5298 since 10/09/2007. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1059 according to MITRE ATT&CK.
A public exploit has been developed by HACKERS PAL and been published immediately after the advisory. The exploit is available at securityfocus.com. It is declared as proof-of-concept. By approaching the search of inurl:administration/securite.php it is possible to find vulnerable targets with Google Hacking.
There is no information about possible countermeasures known. It may be suggested to replace the affected object with an alternative product.
