A vulnerability was found in Linux Foundation xen 3.0.3 0 1/3.0.3 0 3 (Virtualization Software) and classified as critical. Affected by this issue is an unknown part. (1) xenbaked and (2) xenmon.py in Xen 3.1 and earlier allow local users to truncate arbitrary files via a symlink attack on /tmp/xenq-shm.
The weakness was shared 10/28/2007 by Steve Kemp with Debian (Website). The advisory is available at redhat.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2007-3919 since 07/20/2007.
