Details
A vulnerability was found in Hosting Controller up to 6.1_hotfix_3.3 (Hosting Control Software). It has been classified as critical. Affected is some unknown processing. The manipulation of the argument GateWayID with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:
Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in Hosting Controller 6.1 Hot fix 3.3 and earlier allow remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (1) email and (2) loginname parameters to Hosting/Addreseller.asp, (3) the sortfield parameter to accounts/accountmanager.asp, (4) the GateWayID parameter to OpenApi/GatewayVariables.asp, and possibly (5) unspecified vectors to IIS/iibind.asp.
