A vulnerability has been found in Atlassian JIRA 3.12 (Bug Tracking Software) and classified as problematic. This vulnerability affects an unknown code. JIRA Enterprise Edition before 3.12.1 allows remote attackers to delete another user s shared filter via a modified filter ID.

The bug was discovered 10/23/2007. The weakness was shared 12/24/2007 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at confluence.atlassian.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2007-6618 since 01/03/2008. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. There are neither technical details nor an exploit publicly available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1059.007.
