Detailsinfo

A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in hatchet-dev Hatchet up to 0.91.0. Affected is the function http.Get of the file internal/integrations/ingestors/sns/sns.go of the component SNS UnsubscribeConfirmation handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a server-side request forgery vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-918. The web server receives a URL or similar request from an upstream component and retrieves the contents of this URL, but it does not sufficiently ensure that the request is being sent to the expected destination. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality. CVE summarizes:

Hatchet is a platform for orchestrating background tasks, AI agents, and durable workflows at scale. Prior to 0.91.1, the SNS UnsubscribeConfirmation handler in internal/integrations/ingestors/sns/sns.go calls http.Get() on payload.UnsubscribeURL after VerifyPayload() even though BuildSignature() excludes UnsubscribeURL, allowing an authenticated Hatchet tenant to replace that field in an otherwise valid AWS-signed message with an internal URL. The server-side request can reach EC2 Instance Metadata Service, internal services, and internal HTTP APIs, potentially exposing IAM credentials or network-accessible data and functionality. This issue is fixed in version 0.91.1.

The advisory is available at github.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2026-61681 since 07/10/2026. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit.

Upgrading to version 0.91.1 eliminates this vulnerability.
