ViewVC before 1.0.5 includes "all-forbidden" files within search results that list CVS or Subversion (SVN) commits, which allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information.
The bug was discovered 02/28/2008. The weakness was presented 03/24/2008 (Website). The advisory is available at security.gentoo.org. This vulnerability was named CVE-2008-1290 since 03/12/2008.
