Multiple unspecified vulnerabilities in Mozilla Firefox before 2.0.0.13, Thunderbird before 2.0.0.13, and SeaMonkey before 1.1.9 allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via unknown vectors related to the JavaScript engine.
The weakness was released 03/27/2008 by Gregory Fleischer (moz_bug_r_a4) with Mozilla Developers (Website). The advisory is shared at us-cert.gov. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2008-1237 since 03/10/2008. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation. Neither technical details nor an exploit are publicly available.
It is declared as proof-of-concept.
