VideoConference in Apple Mac OS X 10.4.11 and 10.5 through 10.5.4 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory corruption and application crash) or execute arbitrary code via vectors involving H.264 encoded media.
The bug was discovered 09/15/2008. The weakness was presented 09/16/2008 by Robert Swiecki with Google Security Team (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at us-cert.gov. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2008-3621 since 08/12/2008. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation.
