Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Wiki Server in Apple Mac OS X 10.5 through 10.5.4 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via an e-mail message that reaches a mailing-list archive, aka "persistent JavaScript injection."
The bug was discovered 09/15/2008. The weakness was shared 09/16/2008 by Robert Swiecki with Google Security Team (Website). The advisory is shared for download at us-cert.gov. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2008-3622 since 08/12/2008. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication.
