The bug was discovered 04/14/2009. The weakness was disclosed 04/15/2009 by Esteban Martinez Fayo (iDefense) with Application Security, Inc. (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at us-cert.gov. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2009-0994 since 03/19/2009. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. The successful exploitation requires a simple authentication. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available.
